2. Health Report Card on the State of the Talomo-Lipadas
Watersheds.

Each year, the Stakeholders Board produces a report on the State of the Talomo-Lipadas Watersheds. This year, it has established, initially, ten indicators that will determine the state of health of the two watersheds, which will also allow comparative analysis of the past and present conditions as well as show future trends.

The initial ten indicators selected are: (1) physical features; (2) geological features and terrain; (3) land use; (4) forest and vegetation cover; (5) agriculture; (6) water resources; (7) socio-economic; (8) business and industry; (9) waste management; and (10) political and administrative structures. Depending on the utility of information, the list could be modified in the future.

Stakeholders, particularly major water users in Davao City are encouraged to support the publication of the Report so that more people are made aware of the importance of the Talomo-Lipadas Watersheds. The document can also be used for management decisions, particularly on land use for industrial and agricultural development.
